India Ministry Trip Report

Wow! That’s all I can say about our mission trip to India, Dec 26-Jan 6. God did so many incredible things.
Because of your partnership, we were able to provide:
- Two suitcases full of medicines
- 300 Bibles
- 12 bicycles and travel bags for pastors and evangelists who travel from village to village
- Piles of women’s clothing
- A large amount of rice
- A sound system for large group ministry, and a megaphone for small group ministry
- Two fans for their gatherings
- Six rechargeable lights for night meetings
I can’t begin to convey the impact the medicine, alone, had on the people. We sat on a rooftop, dispensing medicine for three hours one day. They’ve never had access to such a broad range of medicines.
In addition to meeting physical needs, our team spoke to their local village churches. In this remote area, this was their first time to have guest speakers. They’ve had little "outside teaching." The biggest influence of recent has been Eddie and Alice’s email newsletters.
We also spoke at a leadership conference which was attended by many women evangelists and cell group leaders, and local pastors and evangelists who have joined forces with Lilly and Eternal Life Ministries. One comment that came many times was, "Thank you for your precious words and teaching to the people here. We have never heard teaching like this before".
It’s impossible to speak of the personal ministry without being deeply stirred. We prayed for hundreds of people with so many different kinds of needs. The people in Golaville, India are hungry for a touch from God and many were in need of physical healing. We were humbled to see God move in response to their faith and our prayer. We saw God touch powerfully many, and we’re still hearing reports of physical healing.
Here is a portion of a recent report from our host, Lilly:
"…we have been getting reports from the people who prayed by you all, some of the women who suffered physical health problems have been healed!! and some have been weeping for these miracles happened to them by laying on your hands and praying for these suffering.
The healing prayers did by brother Robert Smith and Carol and Bryan and Robby and Laura have brought great results in healing many children and men and women. After your departure when we came home from the Air port, the people here welcomed us and have shared their testimonies how they were healed and they have something new ness in them they said!! We praise God for their testimonies and God has blessed them with peace with your prayers."
Thank you so much for your sacrificial giving and prayers on our behalf. Together, we truly have been a part of something great with God. Opportunities like this remind us that our partnership makes a difference. It enables us to share the Gospel with those who’ve never heard, and to expand the Kingdom.
